Galloping Hill Golf Course, also known as "The Hill," is a par 33-layout course designed by Willard Wilkinson and opened in 1928. It is located in central New Jersey and spans 271 acres of rolling hills and valleys. The course has been ranked as the 10th best short course in the United States by Golf Advisor in 2021. The 9-hole course consists of six par 4s and three par 3s, with the first four holes being par 4s and no par 5s. Although it is challenging, it appeals to both beginners and advanced players. The 333-yard second hole is the no. 1 handicap hole, featuring a narrow, tree-lined fairway. The course also has bunkers, undulating greens, and doglegs. Besides the golf course, Galloping Hill offers a driving range, chipping green, and practice putting green, as well as an outstanding golf academy with the latest video and swing analysis technology. The clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop with apparel, accessories, and equipment, and The Hill Tavern offers a diverse menu of appetizers, sandwiches, and draft beer. Banquet facilities are also available for special events and weddings.
