Clark County's Las Vegas Golf Club, established in 1938, is the oldest course in the valley. It is a player-friendly golf course that has recently undergone $5 million worth of improvements that include a new clubhouse and upgrades to the course. The fairways are virtually bunkerless and sparsely populated with mature cottonwood and pine trees. Although the course presents a degree of challenge with thirty greenside bunkers, the greens are generally accessible with slight undulation.
