Bears Best Las Vegas tee times

Bear's Best Las Vegas is a high-end Jack Nicklaus designed golf course located only 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip in Summerlin. The course is comprised of 18 replicas of Nicklaus's favorite holes from courses he has designed all over the world, including courses in Mexico like Palmilla, Cabo del Sol, and El Dorado. The course also features replicas from Las Campanas in Santa Fe, La Paloma in Tucson, and Old Works in Montana. The replicas flow together nicely and fit the topography beautifully. The course features 2 water hazards located on the 1st and 18th holes respectively. The landing areas for tee shots are generous but the fairways narrow and trouble crops up around the greens. The putting surfaces are large, fast, and undulating. The course has excellent practice facilities and a fine clubhouse. The most fun tests at Bear's Best Las Vegas are the 12th, a short par 5 with a minefield of grassy bunkers and the long par-3 15th, which crosses a dry desert wash and showcases a stunning view of The Strip. The holes replicated from Old Works feature the same black slag in the bunkers that Nicklaus employed in Montana. Playing a round at Bear's Best Las Vegas is a fun experience that can stand on its own as an excellent and enjoyable round of golf, but it will be all the more memorable if you have played or are familiar with some of the holes in their authentic setting.
