The Discovery Bay Golf Course, formerly known as Chevy Chase, is the State of Washington's oldest public golf course. Situated in a simple rural setting on the shores of Discovery Bay and just 5 miles south of Port Townsend, this golf course offers stunning panoramic views of the Olympic and Cascade mountains, as well as the crystal-clear waters of Discovery Bay. The course prides itself on maintaining the integrity of the game of golf, with efforts being made to restore and renovate this historic landmark. It is now an 18-hole facility, with the back nine designed by Owner and international Golf Course Architect, Michael Asmundson. The golf course is committed to offering an affordable, year-round golfing experience, with protection from the Olympic rain shadow making it an ideal destination for golf enthusiasts.
