Lake Spivey Golf Club is a family-owned semi-private club located in Atlanta, Georgia. It offers a challenging and enjoyable par-73 course designed by D.J. DeVictor and Mike Young, which has five sets of tees ranging from 4,855 yards to 6,807 yards, making it perfect for every level of player. The course opened its first nine holes in 1963 and was contracted to 18 in the late 2000s. It is situated on a rolling piece of property that includes streams, ponds, tall pines and hardwoods, strategic bunkering, a few elevated tees and undulating greens. The fairways are fairly generous, although there are lots of uneven lies, making the course very playable. The course has three par-3 holes, with the 13th and 15th holes playing over water and being argued as the course's signature holes. The layout begins and ends with challenging par-5 holes, with water coming into play on practically every shot on the first hole. Lake Spivey Golf Club also offers a driving range and practice putting green, with lessons available at the onsite golf academy. The clubhouse restaurant is open daily, serving golfers and non-golfers alike with sandwiches, snacks, and drinks.
