North - BlackHorse Golf Club tee times

BlackHorse Golf Club North Course is a championship golf course located in Cypress, Texas, approximately 25 miles from downtown Houston. Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy in 2000 and situated in an upscale residential development, the course features wetlands, lakes, and creeks, as well as plenty of trees. While perhaps less well-known than its sister course, BlackHorse Golf Club South Course, North Course has still made appearances on lists of top courses in Texas. The course offers a mix of long and short, dogleg and straightaway holes that can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Six sets of tee markers range from 5,065 to 7,301 yards, allowing players to choose the most comfortable yardage for their game. Water is a common threat on the front nine, with aquatic penalty areas present on all but two holes. The back nine is situated in a wooded setting and features abundant birdlife and large oak trees. Both courses at BlackHorse Golf Club play out of the same large clubhouse, which includes a pro shop, locker rooms, and a bar and restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Practice facilities include a grass range, short game area with practice sand bunker, and a putting green.
