Painted Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole golf club located in Kansas City, Kansas. It offers gently rolling, tree-lined fairways and beautifully contoured bentgrass greens. Originally opened as Victory Hills Country Club in 1929, Painted Hills has a rich history. In 1993, eight holes were redesigned, and the course reopened in 1994 under its current name. The bentgrass greens at Painted Hills Golf Club meet USGA specifications and range from 5,000 to 6,500 square feet each. They feature soft undulations, providing numerous pin locations. The fairways boast a dense stand of turf, allowing for cart usage while other courses with zoysia grass restrict carts to the path. Additionally, over 7,000 linear feet of cart path has been replaced and rerouted for enhanced convenience. To add to the challenge and excitement, the course includes twenty-four fairway and greenside bunkers. These bunkers not only add visual appeal but also contribute to the risk and reward aspect of shot making at Painted Hills Golf Club.
