Sienna Golf Club, located in Missouri City, is a preferred option for public golfers in the Houston area. Originally designed by Arthur Hills, the course was opened in 2000 as a fully private club. Sienna Golf Club offers a championship layout with a variety of holes, excellent playing conditions and great value. Hills created a course with a lot of risk-reward opportunities, including short and long holes with penalty areas looming for those who take the risk. The course plays 7,151 yards from the back tees, but with four other sets of tees, starting at just over 5,000 yards, it is enjoyable for all skill levels. The course is fairly flat overall, but the use of mounding gives it an ebb and flow. It is routed through live oaks, mature elms, and around lakes and creeks. There is also a very large practice area with a grass tee, practice bunkers for both greenside and fairway bunker shots, and a practice green for chipping and putting. Golf lessons and professional staff are available at the Sienna Golf Academy. The clubhouse has a well-stocked golf shop and locker rooms for its members. The restaurant is open every day, except for Mondays and Sundays, and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
