Valley Country Club offers one of the most affordable golf experiences in Rhode Island. This public 18-hole, par 72 course is known for its picturesque views, challenging greens, and pristine fairways. Featuring 51 bunkers and 3 water holes, this tree-lined course provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Originally built in 1925 as a nine-hole course, Valley Country Club expanded to its current 18-hole layout in 1964. The original holes, designed by British architect W.H. Follet, known for small greens, include holes 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 18. The newer holes, designed by the acclaimed Geoffrey Cornish, feature larger, sloping greens and include holes 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. In addition to the main course, Valley Country Club offers a driving range, two practice greens, and a practice sand bunker area with three traps and two greens, all available to both members and guests. After your round, enjoy a meal at our beautiful restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner and is open to the public year-round.
