Omaha has produced some of the best golfers in the world, including Johnny Goodman, who won the 1933 U.S. Open, and Ryan Moore, who won the 2004 U.S. Amateur. In 1997, Tiger Woods won the U.S. Amateur at the Omaha Country Club, becoming the youngest player to ever win the event.
